Join us in recognising Global ALS/MND Awareness Day on 21 June, a day dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as motor neurone disease (MND) in many countries.
MND is a progressive and incurable condition that affects the nerve cells responsible for voluntary muscle movement. Over time, it can affect a person’s ability to move, speak, eat, swallow, and breathe.
By raising awareness and encouraging conversation, we can help increase understanding, strengthen support, and promote continued research towards better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
