NZ Sign Language Week

From 3-9 May, we recognise New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) Week, celebrating NZSL as one of the three official languages of Aotearoa New Zealand, alongside te reo Māori and English.

NZSL Week is an opportunity to celebrate the Deaf community, increase awareness and understanding of NZSL, and encourage more people across Aotearoa to learn and use this important language.
