Getting Out There – A guide to ‘Getting out There’ for people with disabilities, older people and their families.

An informational booklet on helpful services in the community if you have a disability or impairment including stories that will inspire and encourage you to ‘Get out There’ and be involved in your community.

A resource for people with a specific impairment or disability living in Northland who would benefit from making contact with organisations that offer free information, advice and support.

Read stories from local people who are living with an impairment and may have accessed these services and are ‘Getting out There’ in their community including being involved in activities such as support groups to exercise and hydrotherapy classes or taking an accessible road trip around Northland.

A valuable resource for families, carers or those working with people with an impairment.
