People First NZ
People First N.Z is a self-advocacy organisation run by and for people with an intellectual (learning) disability. There are groups throughout the regions of New Zealand. The groups meet once a month. We discuss our lives and concerns and we learn how to speak up for ourselves.
People First NZ is now a DIAS – a Disability Information and Advisory Service. This service is for People with a learning (intellectual) disability and anyone interested in supporting people who have a learning disability.
We are really keen to see that people with a learning disability (and others) get good information and advise on what's out there to help you live the lives you want.
Visit our web site at www.peoplefirst.org.nz for more information about our service and contact details.
