Tiaho Trust is a 'for disabled - by disabled' organisation that provides information and empowerment services to the disabled community of Northland. We are situated in the Central Business District in Whangarei and cover from Dargaville to Cape Reinga.

Tiaho Trust works with local bodies, government agencies and businesses along with disabled people to empower the disabled community to actively take part in decision making and problem solving.

We strongly belive in the concept of 'for disabled - by disabled'' and feel that it is very important for disabled people to have their own self determination and not have people speak on their behalf, or have other people tell them what they need or don't need.
