More Housing For Disabled People

The Whangarei Accessible Housing Trust was formed in October 2006. The Trust aims to facilitate housing solutions for disabled people and their families/whanau that have been unable to find suitable and affordable accessible housing in Northland.

New Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Service

Northland Deaf Short Film Festival

The Deaf Association Northland is holding the first ‘Northland Deaf Short Film Festival’

Come along to watch fifteen short films (under seven minutes each) including an award winning film made by local film maker Robert Marquet from Northland and another of his films ‘Goodby Buzzy’ which won Hilda Temapo, local actress ‘Best Actress’ at the Deaf Short Film Festival in Auckland.  Congratulations to them both!
