Invitation to Multi-level Intervention for Suicide Prevention Study ( MISP)

Northland DHB is one of eight DHBs participating in this research project on community/primary care based interventions to prevent suicide and deliberate self-harm. The project is funded by the Ministry of Health and is being undertaken by the University of Otago, Wellington. We warmly invite you to join us to hear more about this study.

Where:  Manaia Health, 28-30 Rust Ave., Whangarei
When:  Thursday 5th August 2010
Time:  10 to 12 noon – presentation & questions
            12 noon to 1pm – kai & korero

Where:  Kaikohe Baptist Church, Cnr of Hongi St & Broadway, Kaikohe
When: Thursday 5th August 2010
Time: 3 to 3.30pm – afternoon tea & korero
          3.30 to 5pm – presentation & questions

Where:  REAP Centre, 33 Puckey Ave., Kaitaia
When:  Friday 6th August 2010
Time:  10 to 12 noon – presentation & questions
            12 noon to 1pm – kai & korero

This will be an opportunity for you to meet the team, including Senior Clinician, Ms Silke Kuehl, and Research Manager, Ms Nandika Currey, and hear about the scope, nature and targeted population for this study.  It will also be a chance to discuss how you or your service could be involved.
