Thanks to funding from the NZSL Board Tiaho Trust will be hosting FREE wananga for Maori DEAF children, parents and their whanau in Whangarei and Kaikohe districts starting soon.

Registrations are open, and essential, for families in Whangarei and Kaikohe to enrol for these free classes that will help Deaf children, parents, and whanau to engage using New Zealand Sign Language – NZ’s third official language.

This is a great opportunity for you to learn more about Deaf culture, how to greet each other using NZSL, how to ask questions, Marae protocols and more.

For more information and to register please contact Arlene – Arlene@tiaho.org.nz  or 09 430 3406 or 021 2022 706 (phone or text)
