A Former Whangarei Hearing Association boss hunted by liquidators since November over alleged mismanagement of funds has finally been tracked down in an Auckland cafe.

Mark Whitfield, a former president and manager of the now liquidated association, was served with court documents at a Gulf Harbour, Whangaparaoa cafe on Monday. Liquidator Stephen Bennett said if the pair failed to attend hearings into the association’s finances, they would be held in contempt of court and arrested.
