The Neurological Foundation of New Zealand with support from Tiaho Trust is proud to present free public lectures by leading Neuroscientists Dr Cathy Stinear and Professor Winston Byblow on Saturday 16th July from 10.30am to 1.30pm at the Kerikeri Primary School.

Dr Cathy Stinear will be speaking about ‘Your plastic brain, predicting and priming recovery after stroke; Professor Winston Byblow asks “will physical activity or Sudoku keep us sharp in old age? ‘Fit brain, how physical activity can maintain brain power’.

Local disability information advisory support providers will be available for you to ask questions about the services they provide in the community.  If you want to find out about physical activities you can take part in; Active Physio and Riding for the Disabled will be there to answer your questions.  We are also having Zumba and Tai Chi demonstrations after the lectures so we encourage you to stay for some light refreshments and give them a go.

Please spread the word about this great FREE event which would be of interest to people either living with a brain related disorder or those in the health profession.
