Auction will help Hearing Society
Published July 17th 2008, Posted in Northland / 1 CommentAfter Mark Whitfield and Erica Kemp hijacked the Whangarei Hearing Association in 2005 they squandered thousands of dollars on household furniture, whiteware and office equipment - all of the highest quality.
An auction of these items is being held to recoup some of the squandered money for the newly formed H.E.A.R Society.
The new Society called H.E.A.R Incorporated (Hearing Education and Rehabilitation) has been formed to which the Liquidator has transferred the items which have been recovered to date.
Attached is a Word document containing a list of the goods to be auctioned.
David Roy and his team from Baileys Real Estate have generously agreed to conduct the auction at no cost so that 100% of the proceeds will benefit H.E.A.R.
Whangarei Hearing Association Auction
1.30pm Saturday 26th July
Viewing of the goods and the auction will be held at 19A Hewlett Street Whangarei.
This is the first turning on the left after the fertiliser store going down Port Road. 19A is on the left just past Culham Engineering.
Payment is by cash and cheque only there will be no EFTPOS available.
You can view the items prior to auction on:
Saturday 19th July from 9am to 11am
Friday 25th July from 10am to 2pm
Saturday 26th July from 9am to 1.30pm just prior to auction.
This is a chance for the Association to recoup some of the huge losses, but also a chance for you to get a bargain. I would be most grateful if people would forward this information to anyone they know who may be interested.
Please if you have any queries.
Kind Regards
Colin Edwards
