Paralympic Games almost here!

One Week Out…

One week out from the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games (the Games open on the 6th of September) the majority of the team have departed the New Zealand shores. The remainder of the team will be departing on Monday evening.

Multiple Sclerosis Awarenss Week

This years Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week runs from the 1st – 7th September.

We will be marking the occasion with a street appeal where the funds raised will go towards providing services to people with MS, their families and carers in Northland. If you are in a position to help with the street appeal we would love to hear from you.

NZ National Boccia Champs

Check out how many medals and trophies the Northland Boccia team brought home from the New Zealand National Boccia Champs in Christchurch 24th - 27th July.

What a great effort, a big congratulations to them all!  We look forward to seeing them play here at the Kensington Stadium where the 2009 Nationals will be held.
