This afternoon the Great Barrier Brief was launched by the Association of Blind Citizens of New Zealand in conjunction with its Wellington Seminar. The launch occurred in the Banquet Hall at Parliament during the informational function hosted by Hon Ruth Dyson, Minister for Disability Issues.

Auction will help Hearing Society

After Mark Whitfield and Erica Kemp hijacked the Whangarei Hearing Association in 2005 they squandered thousands of dollars on household furniture, whiteware and office equipment - all of the highest quality.

An auction of these items is being held to recoup some of the squandered money for the newly formed H.E.A.R Society.
