‘Talking’ NZ Sign Language

The 33-year-old support worker from Maungatapere has been deaf since contracting meningitis as a baby. Through an interpreter, Vicki says there are no drawbacks to using NZ sign language.

Performance supports Alzheimers Society

The Cabaret is on at the Riverbank Theatre from May 18 to June 9 and all proceeds from the May 23 show will go to Alzheimers Society Northland.

Register for North Island Boccia Regional Tournament

Walk to new Aquatic Centre a marathon effort

Fundraising success
Published May 01st 2007, Posted in NorthlandWhangarei Riding for the Disabled raised $1,664 from it’s recent fundraising concert held at the Onerahi Bistro on Saturday, 21st April. Those who attended had an entertaining evening with great food, entertainment and company! There were a number of lucky people who went away with awesome raffle and door prizes
