- Three issues that I feel are of concern are employment, attitudinal treatment, and safe easy access.
- What am I going to do about them? I hope to bring about a change of attitudes towards people with disabilities by developing the idea of having an effectively inclusive community. I would like to promote and focus on what disabled people are able to do rather than what they can't do. Hopefully this will project the message that disabled people are a valid and valuable part of our community and should have a voice in the planning processes and decisions that are made that affect our community.

you use the term “hopefully” Is it really that hard up north? I would like to think that the rights of disabled people who are after all rate payers to access their communities doesn’t prove that difficult. Maybe they don’t realise universal design would suit every one.

A reasoned well thought out reply, David. I do not think the previos comment about universal design suiting everyone. That is not so.
