IEP workshop in Whangarei
Published April 01st 2008, Posted in NorthlandParent to Parent New Zealand Inc. in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, Special Education Services are holding a free IEP (Individual Education Plan) Seminar in Whangarei on Tuesday 15th April at CCS Disability Action offices, 291 Kamo Road Kensington. This seminar is free with the only requirement being that you are a parent with a child/ren who are involved or likely to be involved in the IEP process.

Altogether Autism Network Meeting

Carers needed for study
Published March 26th 2008, Posted in NorthlandThe University of Auckland in conjunction with Carers New Zealand is inviting primary carers of people with support needs to take part in a study called C.A.N. (Carers Assessment of Needs). This study is designed to assess whether the support carers are receiving is meeting their needs as a carer (who supports people of any ages); and what if anything would improve this. Taking part in this study is voluntary.
