I’m Jo Ratu, I have been involved with Tiaho, formerly known as DEAS Trust, in a governance role for the last 12 months. I was drawn to this organisation because of its philosophy and my belief in this kaupapa. Six years ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and although the disabling affects have impacted on my mobility, where I am now wheelchair dependent, this has helped to strengthen my resolve to continue to provide a service to the community.
