Jan has been involved with the Northland Disabled community for some years working with Parent to Parent Northland, originally as Co-ordinator and currently as a committee member and Facilitator for their Parent Support programme. She also works as a Parent Educator for Far North REAP. Jan and her husband Barry live on a small farm near Awanui. She has three adult children and two beautiful grandchildren. She is currently studying to complete a degree in Psychology.
