Disability Information and Advisory Support Services
In Northland, there are a range of organisations providing a Disability Information Advisory Service about a specific disability, or disability in general and how it impacts on the everyday life of a person and their family/whanau.
Some of these organisations provide a service to one region while others provide disability information through a national network with branches and local contacts.
The following organisations are part of the ‘Northland DIAS Collective’ who provide disability information, advice and support about a specific disability to people in Northland.
Tiaho Trust supports these organisations by helping to improve the access to and utilization of their information and services in Northland.
More information about DIAS and other disability support services in Northland is also available via our link to SupportOptions.co.nz
