Parkinsons Awareness Week

Once again the topic for this years Awareness Week is “Get It On Time” stressing the importance of medication being taken at the correct time so the patient gets the full benefit.
This year the N.Z. Pharmacies Guild has offered their support and all their members will ensure that Parkinsonians getting their prescription medicines will have a reminder card included.

Election 08 - Vote Disability

The objective of the event is for the disabled community to be more informed about different political party’s disability policies and to put disability on the local political radar.

Accessible voting

David and Prince step out
Published October 15th 2008, Posted in NationalDavid Senior stepped out with his guide dog Prince, Mark Shanks and Ricky Robson in the 4km course in the Kaitaia run/walk event held last Sunday.
It’s really good to see people with disabilities being involved in the wider community and being seen out there supporting local initives.
